Reviews on VegasVox help the community discover the best Las Vegas has to offer. This guide explains how to write, edit, and manage your reviews.

Writing a Review

To leave a review for a business:

1. Navigate to the listing page for the business you visited
2. Scroll to the Reviews section
3. Click Write a Review
4. Select a star rating (1–5 stars)
5. Write your review in the text field (minimum 25 characters)
6. Optionally add photos from your visit
7. Click Submit Review

Your review will be published after a brief moderation check, typically within a few minutes.

Tips for Writing a Helpful Review

• Be specific about what you ordered, experienced, or observed
• Mention the date or time of your visit when relevant
• Describe both positives and areas for improvement
• Keep your review focused on your actual experience

Review Guidelines

All reviews on VegasVox must comply with our community standards:

• Be honest: Only review businesses you have personally visited
• Be respectful: Avoid offensive language or personal attacks
• Be relevant: Reviews should relate to the business, not unrelated topics
• No conflicts of interest: Do not review your own business or a competitor's

Reviews that violate these guidelines may be removed.

Editing Your Review

To edit a review you've already submitted:

1. Go to your profile and select My Reviews
2. Find the review you want to edit
3. Click the Edit button (pencil icon)
4. Make your changes
5. Click Update Review

Edited reviews are re-submitted for a brief moderation check.

Deleting Your Review

To delete one of your reviews:

1. Go to your profile and select My Reviews
2. Find the review you want to remove
3. Click the Delete button (trash icon)
4. Confirm the deletion

Deleted reviews cannot be recovered.

Responding to Business Replies

Business owners may respond publicly to your review. If a business replies to your review, you'll receive a notification. You can read the response from the original review thread but cannot respond directly — reviews are designed to be one exchange to keep discussions productive.

Reporting a Review

If you see a review that violates VegasVox's community guidelines (spam, fake review, offensive content), you can report it:

1. Click the flag icon next to the review
2. Select the reason for reporting
3. Submit your report

Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action as appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why hasn't my review appeared yet? Reviews go through a brief automated moderation check. Most reviews appear within 15 minutes. If your review hasn't appeared after 24 hours, contact support.

Can businesses remove negative reviews? Businesses cannot remove legitimate reviews. Only reviews that violate our community guidelines are removed by VegasVox moderators.

How is my review rating calculated? Your star rating is combined with all other reviews to produce the business's overall rating, displayed on the listing page.
