Creating Your VegasVox Account

Having a VegasVox account unlocks personalized features that enhance your Vegas experience.

Why Create an Account?

With a free VegasVox account, you can:

  • Write Reviews - Share your experiences with others
  • Plan Trips - Create and save custom itineraries
  • Get Recommendations - Receive personalized suggestions
  • Track History - Keep a record of places you've visited

How to Sign Up

Step 1: Click Sign Up

Find the "Sign Up" button in the top navigation bar of any page.

Step 2: Choose Sign-Up Method

You can create an account using:

  • Email - Traditional email and password
  • Google - Sign in with your Google account
  • Apple - Sign in with Apple ID
  • Facebook - Connect with Facebook

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

Add optional information to enhance your experience:

  • Profile photo
  • Preferred categories (dining, shows, etc.)

Step 4: Verify Your Email

If you signed up with email, check your inbox for a verification link.

Accessing Your Settings

  1. Click on your profile picture
  2. Select "Account Settings"

Managing Your Account

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Click "Security"
  3. Select "Change Password"
  4. Enter current and new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Updating Email Address

  1. Navigate to Account Settings
  2. Click "Email & Notifications"
  3. Enter new email address
  4. Verify through confirmation email

Two-Factor Authentication

For added security:

  1. Go to Security settings
  2. Enable "Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Choose SMS or authenticator app
  4. Follow setup instructions

Privacy Controls

Review Visibility

Choose who can see your reviews:

  • Public - Everyone can see
  • Members Only - Only VegasVox users
  • Private - Only you

Data Management

You can:

  • Download your data
  • Delete specific information
  • Close your account

Troubleshooting

Can't Sign In?

Try these steps:

  1. Check email/password spelling
  2. Use "Forgot Password" link
  3. Clear browser cookies
  4. Try a different browser

Didn't Receive Verification Email?

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Add noreply@vegasvox.com to contacts
  3. Request new verification email
  4. Contact support if issues persist

Account Locked?

Accounts may be locked for:

  • Multiple failed login attempts
  • Suspicious activity
  • Terms of service violations
